Tasting Note:

In the glass, this wine casts a red plum colour. It’s aromatic nose suggests coffee, tobacco, stewed plum, violet and faint black licorice. The palate is spicy with more tobacco and licorice, plus leather and black cherry. The tannins are noticeable but easily pleasant enough to drink without food. This wine will hopefully please those who want to try an earthy wine, but who still want to be able to sip this before dinner is ready.
